You crack me up Molly…mostly because I am the exact same way!! I'll be reading email or on pinterest thinking "oh yeah" I was supposed to be just doing this or that. We can sympathize with those kids who just can't focus sometimes. Good luck with your LIST!! I think I need a double summer to finish mine!

A Burst of First
I'm SO glad I'm not alone in this. I feel like a goldfish – the attention span of a 3 seconds!
I can totally relate to the lists! If I do something that wasn't on the list I quickly write it down so I can cross it off! Such a good feeling! Thanks for the cute freebie!

Two Friends In First
Me TOO!!!! I just like that "oh ya, I accomplished something" feeling. Never mind that it was just walking across the house to put the milk back in the fridge 🙂
Your post totally cracked me up & I can so relate! I actually write things on my TO DO list that I've already done, just so I can cross them off and feel mildly productive before embarking on a new task. haha 🙂 Good luck with the organizing..that's my summer goal! 🙂

First Grade Fairytales
Thanks, Kelly! So glad to see I'm not alone in this world! Maybe it's a teacher thing!
Exactly! I no longer am the multitasker I used to be, all of my focus is just divided and my ipad gets the real attention (my poor husband wants to watch a movie without me checking imdb to see if I know that actor from somewhere!). Anyway, I am finally happy with my writing workshop, feel free to read my post when you have some time 🙂
Teaching in the Tongass Writing Workshop Post
Ooooh, I will definitely pop over for some Writer's Workshop help! Guess I'll add that to my list! Haha. Thanks so much for even linking it!
Molly I am the SAME way with the stopping and starting… it took me TWO hours to write my pretty short blog post tonight. Because, well I was watching… no no crying along to… the Healing in the Heartland concert and then I decided to read a bunch of blog posts… etc, etc!!!
Thanks for the great questionnaire!!!

Closing the Gap… in a Cute Outfit!
Haha! I totally get it! At least we're whittling down the list on TiVo! Glad you can use the questionnaire!
I can so relate! I check instagram ALL THE TIME! I actually get annoyed when there isn't a new picture posted in the last 30 minutes. Come on people! I want to see your pictures! Ha! One of my goals for next year is to improve my writing instruction, too. During the teacher appreciation sale on TpT, I bought Deedee Wills and Deanna Jumps writing bundle and can't wait to use it next year!

Always an Adventure in Kindergarten
Me too! My life is boring – I want to see others! I also bought those units (and they're still waiting to be downloaded – eeek!) I'm going to try to get a jump start this summer! Happy Almost Friday!
Thank you so much for your cute Getting Acquainted paper. I like it so much better than what I have been using! It is cuter too!
Thanks, Lori! Don't you think parents are more likely to fill it out if it is cute? 🙂
Oh, my…that ecard cracked me up! That is exactly how it is during my plan time…I hope my principal isn't reading this:) I like your goals, especially "be realistic". I too am very critical of myself when things aren't "perfect"…got to let some of that go. I found you through Kim's linky and am your newest follower. Yay for first grade!
SynonymRolls&AntonymMoments
My hope is that principals are too busy to read blogs 🙂 I'm headed your way now!
Oh my word Molly! We are going to have so much fun making fun of one another this upcoming year. I am SO SO SO this way. The way I organize is like you too. Someone else would walk in and wonder what in the world I was up to again because I make such a mess in the process. Eventually, it gets back to how I want it to be once I check email, texts, etc. Ha!
Ya we are! Can't wait for next year!
Thank you so much for the questionnaire! We are using it tomorrow for Open House. 🙂
