As teachers, we spend countless hours focusing on our students. So, it’s only fair that we get a little something back in return! Thankfully, many businesses recognize the invaluable contribution teachers make and offer discounts {both big and small!} to show their appreciation. Here’s your ultimate guide to maximizing your savings with teacher discounts at tons of different stores and sites!
First things first, make sure to check out ID.me. You sign up with your school email address. and you’ll be amazed at all the places you can get a discount because of your school affiliation!
ID.me is a way to prove your identity as a teacher across multiple sites at once. Basically, it’s a digital way of showing your school ID or your union card on the internet!

Plus, there are TONS of free teaching resources – go search and find some fun games or posters that you can use!
Check out this post with an easy thank you note I whipped up using Canva!

A Website Full of Goodies
Have you heard of NAEIR? I LOVE this website! Basically, businesses often have overstock they can’t sell {they have too much inventory or maybe the packaging changed} So, they donate it to NAEIR and offer it to non-profits {including teachers} for FREE! You pay a very small processing fee and shipping.
This site is a treasure trove of stuff that is so helpful for your classroom. You definitely cannot go onto the site expecting to find specific things, but you’ll be amazed at what is offered on this site that will be useful in your classroom.
I’ve loaded up on Command Hooks, Velcro dots, playground balls, craft kits and so much more! It’s definitely worth checking out and perusing from time to time. You can sign up for a free teacher account here.
These are just a few highlights of the countless teacher discounts. Don’t be afraid to ask if a business offers a teacher discount — many businesses offer them but don’t always advertise prominently.
