There are tons of great math ideas over on Pinterest and today I’m sharing a few of my favorites!
1. Common Core Math Flip Books
These are such an awesome resource for Common Core. Simply download, print and assemble. Super practical (and grade specific) examples of applying the common core standards. Even better…they’re free!

2. Tally Friends
How cute are these?
3. Math About Me {freebie!}
Super fun project for Back to School! We all know how much kids love sharing about themselves!
4. New Math Station Ideas
I’m always looking for ways to update my own Math Games Galore. Amanda shares some fabulous games to add! Click {here} to check out a few of my free games!

5. Math Game Websites
I’m always on the lookout for meaningful math games for our computer time. This site suggests a ton of games I’ve never heard of!
6. Telling Time Anchor Chart
Does anyone else feel like they’re teaching Greek when teaching time? Our Math program makes this concept even more difficult to teach! Hopefully this helpful anchor chart will make it a tad easier to grasp!
7. Number of the Day
I am really bad at doing anything that must be done daily. BUT, I love this freebie from 2nd Grade Stuff! Maybe I’ll photocopy a giant stack & use them as I ‘remember’ {i.e. need a time filler!}
9. Pool Noodle Place Value
Just plain fun!
10. Odd & Even Posters
We sing these fun songs all the time in class!

Love the math pins, lots of great ideas.
The common core flip book looks like a fab resource.
If you like number of the day, check my site. I have a few, similar to the one you have pinned. I've tried to create versions that grow with my firsties through the year. Plus they're all free.
Have a great evening.
